Membership in the Frederick County Agricultural Society runs in Robert Frank’s family. He became a member in 1970 and joined the Board of Managers in 1989. Mr. Frank served as president of the Frederick County Agricultural Society in 1996 and 1997. He currently serves as the chairman of the Employment and 4-H committees.
As a child, Mr. Frank visited the fair every year. He has always enjoyed the animal exhibits at the fair, but the Farm and Garden is his favorite spot during the fair.
Mr. Frank uses his experiences and knowledge as a small business owner to help the Board of Managers achieve its goals in improving and preserving the fair and its traditions. During those rare “free” moments, he enjoys going fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
