Irvin Renn has been to every fair in the state of Maryland, and still considers The Great Frederick Fair to be the best of all. He has been a member of the Frederick County Agricultural Society for more than 50 years. Mr. Renn joined the Board of Managers in 1948 and retired in 2001. He served as president of the Frederick County Agricultural Society, Inc. in 1952, 1953, 1968, and 1969.
Mr. Renn always enjoyed visiting the fair each year, so he was pleased to accept a nomination to the Board of Managers. According to Mr. Renn, he was pleased to have the opportunity to help grow the fair.
Mr. Renn is now retired from real estate and auctioneering. He says he is very proud of all the board has accomplished.
