Carload Admission Special To Be Introduced At The Great Frederick Fair
FREDERICK
–The Great Frederick Fair is introducing a "Carload Special" promotion on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003. This year’s event, "A Country Tradition in the Heart of the City," runs September 12-20.The "Carload Special" being sponsored by Frederick’s Key 103.1, WAFY, includes parking in Lot D, off of Monocacy Boulevard, admission to the fair and unlimited rides for all arriving in the same vehicle from 2 p.m. - close, Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003. This special offer is only available for those parking in Lot D and will not be honored in other parking areas.
The carload special is $30 per vehicle, buses excluded."The Great Frederick Fair is a family event and we want to encourage families to attend as a unit," said fair board President J.R. Ramsburg, Jr. "The carload special was designed to make the fair even more accessible to those with larger families.
"We’re also very proud to be partnering with Key 103.1 on this special promotion," he continued. Key 103.1 is a very community and family oriented station and they attract the same type of family audiences that our fair is all about. Every day is a great day to attend the fair," Ramsburg add, "but with a great promotion like this, Wednesday is an even better day!"
