GFF Releases Admission and Carnival Prices
FREDERICK, Md. — The Great Frederick Fair has released 2003 fair admission and carnival ride prices. All tickets can be purchased on-line at www.thegreatfrederickfair.com. The 141st fair, "A Country Tradition in the Heart of the City," will run Sept. 12-20.
Individual admission to the fair is $5 per person. Children under 18 and senior citizens over 65 years old have free admission Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
A promotional "Carload Special" will be available on Wednesday, Sept. 17. The "Carload Special" includes parking in Lot D, off of Monocacy Boulevard, admission to the fair and unlimited rides for all arriving in the same vehicle from 2 p.m. - close for only $30. This special offer is only available for those parking in Lot D and will not be honored in other parking areas.
Admission packages are also available. A 3-day package can be purchases for $12. This includes three one-time admission passes to the fair. A season pass can be purchased for $25 which includes one admission for each day of the fair. Parking is not included with either of these admission packages.
Special ride ticket packages are also available on-line. The Bandit Ticket costs $11 and is valid on days of Pay One Price promotions. Visit www.thegreatfrederickfair.com for promotional dates and times.
The Posse Ticket is a family four pack that costs $60 and includes single-day admission plus unlimited rides for four people during carnival hours. This package is valued at $100. Parking is not included.
The Bonanza Ticket, a mega pass, is good for one single admission everyday as well as unlimited rides everyday during carnival hours. This ticket is non-transferrable and can only be used by the purchaser. This promotional package is valued at $240, but can be purchased on-line for $100.
There is a 50 cent transaction fee for all purchases. All tickets will be mailed until Sept. 8. Tickets purchased after that date must be picked up at the fair administration office.
