John E. Bare

Board of Managers

 

As a local business owner and life-long fairgoer, John Bare is proud to help preserve the Frederick County heritage that The Great Frederick Fair represents. Mr. Bare has been a member of the Frederick County Agricultural Society for more than 20 years, and joined the Board of Managers in 2001.

 

Mr. Bare currently serves as chairman of the Frederick County Agricultural Society’s Off-Season Rental Committee, and is a member of the Poultry and Machinery Row committees.

 

Through his business, Mr. Bare has been a major contributor and supporter of the fair’s programs and initiatives, including the milking facility. As a member of the Central Maryland Farm Equipment Dealers Association, he has also been a consistent participant in the association’s Machinery Row exhibit.

 

Mr. Bare feels that The Great Frederick Fair is a viable part of the Frederick community and hopes to use his business experience to further help the fair attain its goals. He particularly enjoys the agriculture exhibits and the food during the fair.

 

Mr. Bare is also a member of the Maryland Motor Truck Association, a director ion the Eastern Equipment Dealers Association, and is a director of Dutch’s Daughter restaurant.
