Michelle M. Martz-Bowles
Counsel

No matter where life took Michelle Martz-Bowles, she always found her way back to Frederick to attend The Great Frederick Fair. Growing up in Frederick, the fair was always a big event in her household, and she seldom missed a day of the fair. Ms. Martz-Bowles joined the Frederick County Agricultural Society Board of Managers in 2000 as counsel, following in her father's footsteps upon his retirement.

Ms. Martz-Bowles first began practicing law in Frederick in 1997, splitting her time between offices in Frederick and Baltimore. She made Frederick her full-time home in 1999. Before entering into private practice, Ms. Martz-Bowles was employed by the Baltimore Public Defender Office.

The Great Frederick Fair is still an important part of Ms. Martz-Bowles' life. She attends every year to support the agriculture that built Frederick, as well as to see the many people she knows that return to Frederick for the fair.

Ms. Martz-Bowles is a member of the Maryland State and American Bar Associations, as well as the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
