City Streets, Country Roads, an Agriculture Awareness Exhibit, is designed to educate the public on traditional agriculture as well as non-traditional agriculture. Live animal exhibits, demonstrations and one on one conversations with exhibitors are featured throughout the week. Special tours are given to school groups. Special giveaways include rulers, coloring/activity books, soybean crayons, I visited "City Streets, Country Roads stickers, and fair posters. Youngsters can also participate in the "Grime Watch" program sponsored by the Cooperative Extension Service, educating them and the fair going public on proper hand washing techniques
and how to reduce the threat of e-coli.
