FREDERICK, MD August 25, 2017 –   Led by Nancy Carlisle, Poultry Superintendent at The Great Frederick Fair and ag-advocate, a new meat turkey project will debut at the 2017 Fair, September 15-23, sponsored by Southern States. 30 4-H and FFA members participated, raising a total of 85 turkeys. Exhibitors can bring one turkey to the fair to be judged for meat quality.
