Ag society chooses board members

FREDERICK, Md. — The Frederick County Agricultural Society (FCAS) held its annual life member meeting on Dec. 8 at the Frederick Fairgrounds.

The society is made up of 250 life-member certificate holders who own the Frederick Fairgrounds, site of The Great Frederick Fair.

During the annual meeting, shareholders elect a board of managers for the following year. The 2019 board consists of John Bare, Charles Cramer, Joseph Devilbiss, Robert Frank, Maurice Gladhill, James Grimes, Colby Hubble, Nancy Hendricks, Nancy Keller, Jacqui Kreh and John Murphy.

After the meeting, the new board elected officers.

Cramer, of New Market, Md., was elected to serve as president; Nancy F. Keller of Keymar, Md., vice president; Robert Frank of Frederick, secretary; and Maurice Gladhill of Frederick will continue as treasurer. Anne Rollins was re-elected to serve as legal counsel for the FCAS.

The Great Frederick Fair Inc. has a separate board of directors.
