GFF Exhibitor Guidelines
GFF’s Indoor Exhibits Entry Dates/Times Announced
FREDERICK, MD – If you have made, produced or grown something you would like to show off and be judged to receive a week-long fair pass and potentially win prize money, then enter your indoor exhibits at The Great Frederick Fair in September. Entries are open to all Frederick County residents.
All of the available departments, entry dates, times, rules and regulations are in the fair’s catalog which is available at www.thegreatfrederickfair.com (under Exhibitor Information) or come into the Frederick Fair office located at 797 East Patrick Street, Frederick, MD M-F 8am-4pm
- Follow directions for when entries are to be brought to the fair.
- Most entries are taken Saturday, September 8 from 10a.m. 2p.m or 4p.m. (Beer Wine and Cider & Home Arts & Crafts – Photography, Fine Arts, Multi-Media, Afghans, Quilts, Children and Middle/High School
- Wednesday, September 12 from 2p.m. or 3p.m. until 8p.m. for Home Arts & Craft Buildings (All EXCEPT Baked Goods, Photography, Fine Arts, Multi-Media, Afghans, Quilts, Children and Middle/High School) and Farm and Garden Building
- Thursday, September 13 from 2p.m. – 8p.m. for Home Arts & Crafts Building Baked Goods ONLY and from 3p.m. – 8p.m. Farm & Garden Building Entries are received
On-line entry pre-registration is available at www.thegreatfrederickfair.com and is strongly encouraged; fees may be paid with credit card online. Entries may also be brought to the Fair and registered on the dates and times specified above (Must pay by cash or check).
As part of the entry, each exhibitor must purchase an Exhibitor Season Strip Pass for
$10. Exhibitor Season Strip Passes include one admission to the fair each day.
Exhibitors will be allowed three items on one ticket in all departments. Items are judged and ribbons awarded, associated premiums will be mailed following the fair.
Both the Home Arts and Crafts, and the Farm and Garden departments will feature educational demonstrations throughout the week by members of the Frederick County Homemaker Clubs and special interest groups and individuals. Complete schedules will be posted at each building fair week, and may be found on the fair’s website, social media or the FREE mobile app, keyword: Fred Fair.
